Explore the trace of the first pre-historic Hominids of Europe nearby the South Georgian town of Dmanisi and visit the Archaeological site where worldwide famous scholars discovered an extraordinary record of the earliest hominid dispersal beyond Africa (1,85 million years ago) which has changed scientist’s knowledge concerning the migration of homo from Africa to the European continent. Here we find different archaeological excavations from the Stone Age settlement up to Medieval Period churches and cellars as well as the fossilized remnants of Homo Georgicus which made Georgia the homeland of the first Europeans.

We arrive back in Tbilisi in the late afternoon.
